Return Policy

Returns:

  • 25% Handling charges on all returns.
  • Part must be present at our location and have original receipt to return.
  • Deposit are non-refundable.
  • No cash refunds, in store credit only.
  • A reasonable cash deposit may be required for orders where part must be removed or ordered from other sources.
  • Warranty on wheels is at our discretion.
  • Bearing are not warrantied.
  • No Refunds of labor.
  • No returns on tires, body parts, cut panels, glass, electrical components, miscellaneous components or aftermarket parts.
  • No refunds or returns on shipped items and no refunds for shipping charges. We are not liable for damages during shipping.
  • Damaged or altered parts will void warranty.
  • Any attempt to alter, remove, or conceal part makings will void warranty.
  • Cores must be returned in at time of purchase, or a core charge will be made.
  • Replacement parts are of similar price and/or mileage. If no parts are available of similar value, customer will have to pay the difference for the replacement part.
  • The buyer agrees to any inspection or method of inspection dictated by the seller and agrees seller has the right not to accept returned merchandise if in seller’s discretion, he believes condition of used merchandise has changed from date of sale.
  • Claims for adjustment or return due to defective or improper parts installation must have prior approval by the seller within 30, thirty days of the time of purchase, unless otherwise noted in writing at the time of the sale.

Electrical Parts:

Car electronics has become more complex by the day! Most modern cars require authorize dealer programming and intricate adaptation procedures in order for the replacement components to work properly. Due to the nature and complexity of replacing those electrical parts and control modules such as starters, alternators, computers, radios, batteries, and other misc. electrical parts are guaranteed to work at the time of sale. All sales are final on electrical items. Any reprogramming or re-flashing fees assessed by part manufacturers is the sole discretion of the buyer. Money will not be refunded on any electrical item. These parts are SOLD AS IS.

Air Conditioning:

Air conditioning compressors are warranted only if the system was flushed, a new receiver dryer was installed, correct oil and the correct amount was used, and the system was evacuated. A receipt is required showing proper installation was complete. Warranty does not include any labor, Freon, or new parts used to install a recycled air compressor.

Body Section & Cuts:

All body sections or cuts require a security deposit before the job is started. Once body section or cut has been removed the deposit and the part is non-refundable in anyway.

Engine:

At the time of installation to avoid voiding warranty:

  • Replace the following with new parts; timing belt (if applicable, if timing chain engine, do not replace), water pump, thermostat, spark plugs, fluids, front crankshaft seal, rear main seal, oil pan gasket, and oil filter.
  • Ensure oil and other fluids are changed and filled to the proper levels with correct fluid types according to the vehicle manufacturer’s guidelines.
  • Flow-check the radiator and replace if necessary.
  • Install engine in accordance with the vehicle manufacturer’s guidelines, including any current Technical Service Bulletins that apply.
  • Stated warranty is void on engines and cylinder heads if heat tabs are melted or missing.
  • Warranty for engines is limited to manufacturing defects in the block, cylinder head valves, pistons, rings, crankshafts, cam shafts, connecting rods and bearings, rockers, oil pump, and other internal parts.
  • All other parts that may be provided are “Accessories and/or Extra Parts” and no warranty is provided for any such parts that are attached, including parts such as switches, sensors, cables, electronics, belts, hoses, gaskets, water pump, A/C compressors, alternators, starters, and manifolds.
  • Engine warranty (when listed on invoice) – only covers excessive smoking, engine noise, and excessive oil use. Severity of these conditions will be determined by Gocheap Autoparts. Belts, water pump, thermostat, spark plugs, fluids, filters and seals should all be replaced at time of install. Engine claims related to the overheating and or improper lubrication of the engine or its components are not covered by this warranty.
  • All engine claims must be supported by receipts and documentation that the above items were replaced at times of install. Warranty is limited to Refund or Exchange or Repair at discretion of Gocheap Autoparts.
  • New fluids, filters, seals, and gaskets must be used in installation of part. Engine oil must be of the proper viscosity for the season of the year. Transmission oil must be the type recommended by the manufacturer of the vehicle.
  • We do not sell or warranty external engine components that are not specifically listed on your invoice. No express or implied warranties, including the warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. We are not responsible for consequential or incidental damages. No reimbursement on labor, rentals, or travel.
  • Engine assemblies are understood to consist of a short block assembly and cylinder head(s). Any other parts left on the engine assembly at the time of sale are included for possible purchaser’s convenience only and are to be used at the purchaser’s option only. These parts are not covered under warranty and must be inspected and replaced before installation.
  • Cylinder head(s) are warranted to have no cracks that affect the operation of the head(s). Valve train is not covered under warranty. We recommend having head(s) pressure checked, surfaced, and a valve job done.

After Installation:

  • Change the oil after the first 600 miles and then once every 3,000-5,000 miles thereafter.
  • Service the vehicle at proper intervals in accordance with the vehicle manufacturer’s guidelines.

Transmission (Automatic):

At the time of installation to avoid voiding warranty:

  • Replace the following with new parts; front pump seal, output shaft seal(s), pan gasket, and filter (where applicable, if no filter exists, screen must be cleaned).
  • Flush lines and replace cooler or radiator in accordance with the vehicle manufacturer’s guidelines.
  • Fill transmission/transaxle to the proper level using correct fluids in accordance with the vehicle manufacturer’s guidelines.
  • Reset computer codes.
  • Adjust shifter mechanisms.
  • Stated warranty is void on any automatic transmission if a new transmission cooler or new radiator is not installed and existing transmission cooler are not bypassed or removed.
  • Please follow the current procedures specified by the OEM installer and use proper fluid.
  • Transmission electronics, front seal, rear seal, pan gaskets, filters and axle shaft seals are not covered by warranty.

After installation:

  • Change transmission fluid at proper intervals in accordance with the vehicle manufacturer’s guidelines.

Transmission (Manual):

At the time of installation to avoid voiding warranty:

  • Replace the following with new parts; external seals, clutch, pressure-plate, release bearing, slave cylinder, clutch cable, and clutch master cylinder,.
  • Fill transmission/ transaxle to the proper level using correct fluids in accordance with the vehicle manufacturer’s guidelines.
  • Adjust Shifter Mechanism.
  • Please follow the current procedures specified by the OEM installer and use proper fluid. Transmission electronics, front seal, rear seal, pan gaskets, filters and axle shaft seals are not covered by warranty.

After installation:

  • Change transmission fluid at proper intervals in accordance with the vehicle manufacturer’s guidelines.

Axle assemblies and Transfer cases:

At the time of installation to avoid warranty:

  • Replace the following with new parts; seals, and cover gasket, where applicable.
  • Fill fluids to the proper level using correct fluids in accordance with the vehicle manufacturer’s guidelines.
  • All tires on the vehicle must be the same size, brand, make, model, and tread depth.
  • Transmissions are guaranteed to be in good condition at time of purchase. Flush and inspect transmission cooling lines and add fluid levels to manufacturers suggested levels. There is no responsibility for improper installation by customers.

GOCHEAP AUTOPARTS STRONGLY RECOMMEND THE PURCHASER REPLACE THE TIMING BELT AND REAR MAIN SEAL PRIOR TO INSTALLATION, AS THESE ARE NOT COVERED BY WARRANTY. WARRANTY IS VOID IF HEAT TABS ARE MELTED OR REMOVED.

Deposits:

Deposits are valid for 10, ten days from date of invoice and are non-refundable.

By receiving the invoice receipt from GOCHEAP AUTOPARTS, the customer acknowledges all warranty terms and will follow the standard trade practices of GOCHEAP AUTOPARTS.
